  • We are not organizing any group tickets or transportation for any of the other matches on Man City’s preseason tour in the US. If you wish to attend any of the other matches, any tickets and/or travel arrangements will have to be made by you and you alone.

  • Please stay tuned for more information about pre-match events.

  • Stay tuned for any special pre- and/or post-match events that could potentially include players, the coaches, and/or the staff, but unless there’s an event open to the public, you cannot and you will not meet them.

Let’s all respect their privacy and allow them to do their jobs without any disturbance.

Anyone who asks this question will be referred to this answer, and any further inquiries could end with you stranded in the middle of Ronkonkoma.

    Don’t be weird, people.

  • We do not know what hotel the team will be staying in… and we won't tell you in the off chance that we happen to find out.

Anyone who asks this question will be referred to this answer, and any further inquiries could end with you knocking on the door of a bed and breakfast in Montauk.

Let’s all respect the privacy of the players and staff and allow them to rest without disturbance at their accommodation during this pre-season tour.

    Don’t be weird, people.

  • We do not know what flights the team are taking… and we won't tell you in the off chance that we happen to find out.

We will not be hanging out at the airport to try and see them. We’re not TMZ, for crying out loud.

Let’s all respect the privacy of the players and staff and allow them to travel undisturbed.

    Don’t be weird, people.

  • As of March 19, we have no information about any training sessions. That said, if Manchester City do train in the New York City area, they will most likely do so at NYCFC's training facility in Orangeburg.

Unless explicitly told otherwise, any and all training sessions will be closed to the public. So unless you were invited, you will not be allowed in.

Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

  • There are three main airports in the New York City area: JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark.

For more information on how to get to and from JFK, click here.

For more information on how to get to and from LaGuardia, click here.

For more information on how to get to and from Newark, click here.

You can always get a cab from any airport, as well as Uber, Lyft, or Revel.

  • We highly recommend taking advantage of New York City’s public transportation, available 24/7/365.

We also suggest downloading a subway and bus map to your phone so you can always look at it, even if you don’t have access to WiFi or cellular service.

Apps like MyMTA and Transit will help you plan your journeys as well.

Additionally, ride-share apps like Uber, Lyft, and Revel are readily available throughout the city and the surrounding areas.

  • Amity Hall Downtown is easy to get to via the subway; the closest subway station is West 4th Street–Washington Square, which serves the A, B, C, D, E, F, and M lines. The 6 train’s Astor Place Station and R and W trains’ 8th Street Station are both roughly an 8-10 minute walk away.

If you are coming from New Jersey, the 9th Street PATH Station is a short walk away.

For more information, please see the map on our Contact Us page.

For information about food, drinks, specials, and everything else, please click here to visit Amity Hall’s website.

  • Amity Hall is an all ages establishment, so all Blues are welcome! (Please note that per New York City law, anyone under the age of 21 cannot sit at the bar proper… or drink alcohol, obviously.)

  • Amity Hall’s downstairs area is wheelchair accessible thanks to a wheelchair lift, with seating and restrooms.

  • We are proud to be a diverse supporters club in a diverse city, and we aim to have a safe, inclusionary, and welcoming environment for all.

All Blues are accepted and welcomed in our midst, no matter their race, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexuality, or anything else. We do not tolerate or condone discriminatory behavior, harassment, and/or bigotry of any kind, on any level. This includes—but is not limited to—racism, sexism, xenophobia, homophobia, transphobia, antisemitism, Islamophobia, ableism, and classism.

Additionally, we do not tolerate hateful chants and/or songs about or referencing disasters and/or tragedies that affected rival clubs. It is not banter, it is not funny, and we hold no quarter for it.

If you ever feel unsafe for any reason and wish to report an incident, please don’t be afraid to let us know, either by telling us in person, by email, or by direct messaging us via social media.

We take any and all reports seriously.

  • For any events we hold surrounding Manchester City’s preseason tour, only Manchester City supporters will be allowed entry, with active paid New York Sky Blues members having priority.

  • We sell t-shirts, scarves, beanies, and sweatshirts, with all proceeds going straight to our charity efforts.

Please click the Merch tab at the top of the page to see what’s available, and for pricing.

  • We recommend taking the subway to and from Yankee Stadium—the B, D, and 4 trains all go to the 161st Street/Yankee Stadium station. It is the most accessible and affordable way to get there. (Check out the MTA’s a handy guide on their website for more information.)

Getting a cab or using a rideshare app will not only take longer due to traffic, it will be far more expensive due to tolls.

  • Important information about attending the match at Yankee Stadium, including what you can/cannot take inside the stadium, can be found here. Be sure to take a look at that, as well as Yankee Stadium’s policies and procedures.

  • Staying for the week? We asked our members for recommendations of their favorite things to do in New York.

    • You can’t go wrong with a museum, but they can be pricey, so be sure to check for discounts or free days. Our favorite museums are the Met, MoMA, the American Museum of Natural History, and the Whitney.

    • There are free summer movie events hosted in various NYC parks in every borough throughout the summer. Click here for the full schedule.

    • If you want to go atop a skyscraper, we suggest Top of the Rock. Not only is it more affordable than the Empire State Building, but the view is arguably better. (Plus, if it’s good enough for Oasis’ ‘Standing on the Shoulder of Giants’ album cover, we reckon that it’s good enough for you!)

    • If you want another skyscraper view, try One World Observatory. Located atop One World Trade Center, it has a great view of New York Harbor, and an elevator ride to the top that has to be seen to be believed.

    • For a great view of downtown Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Statue of Liberty, and New York Harbor, hop on the Staten Island Ferry. You will have to loop back, but you can get two amazing views, all for free—no tickets needed! (Be aware of scammers trying to sell tickets.)

    • Central Park is a must, but we highly recommend checking out The High Line. Built on an abandoned elevated freight rail line, this is easily New York’s most unique park.

    • If the weather is nice, we recommend crossing the Brooklyn Bridge and exploring DUMBO from there… especially the Brooklyn Bridge Park.

  • We tried to keep this list within a ten-block radius of Amity Hall, but we’re happy to give more recommendations, regardless of location; don’t be afraid to ask us via social media!

    • Joe’s Pizza has some of the best pizza slices you can get in Manhattan. There are a few locations, including the original one, just a few blocks away from Amity Hall.

    • For a proper pizza pie, John’s of Bleecker Street is one of the best in Manhattan. No slices here… this neighborhood classic has been making crispy pizza with thin crust the traditional way, with coal fired ovens and fresh ingredients. This is as delicious and old-school as it gets.

    • Mamoun’s Falafel is one of the best cheap eats in NYC. There are a few locations around the city, including the original one, located two blocks from Amity Hall.

    • Saigon Shack is a Vietnamese restaurant in the neighborhood that’s affordable, reliable, and most of all, delicious.

    • If you want to try a smashburger, go to 7th Street Burger, with a location just around the block from Amity Hall. Their burgers are as simple as it gets, letting the quality of the ingredients do the talking.

    • For Chinese food, a neighborhood favorite is Auntie Guan’s Kitchen, which specializes in northeastern Chinese cuisine.

  • We tried to keep this list within a ten-block radius of Amity Hall, but we’re happy to give more recommendations, regardless of location; don’t be afraid to ask us via social media!

    • McSorley’s Old Ale House is quintessential “old New York.” It’s brimming with history that nothing hanging on its walls has been changed since 1910. They have only two kinds of beers: light and dark. Can’t go wrong with that!

    • Peculier Pub is one block away from Amity Hall and a favorite among our members. This dive bar has an extensive selection of beers from all over the world and a great atmosphere.

    • If you want to visit a speakeasy, The Garret West sits above a Five Guys not too far away from Amity Hall. Just enter the Five Guys and head upstairs. It features great cocktails, a massive skylight, and a cozy, laid back ambiance.

    • Located in the former space of the historic Gaslight Café, a main hangout of the Beat Generation and music venue where Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, Jimi Hendrix, and more played in the 1960s, The Up & Up is a craft cocktail bar worth checking out.

    • A favorite amongst our regulars, Swift Hibernian Lounge is an Irish pub with one of the best pints of Guinness you can find in New York, so much so that Esquire Magazine named it one of the Best Bars in America in 2017.

    • One of New York’s best-kept secrets is Blue & Gold Tavern, an East Village classic. Fittingly named after the colors of the Ukrainian flag given the neighborhood’s rich Ukrainian history, this old-school, family-owned dive bar has affordable drinks, friendly staff, a great jukebox, a pool table, board games, and a great neighborhood vibe.

  • Popular shows include Six, Hamilton, Wicked, The Who’s Tommy, Chicago, Cabaret, The Book of Mormon, Back to the Future, Aladdin, Hadestown, and The Lion King.

If you want to see a Broadway show, we highly recommend going to the TKTS booth. You can skip the super busy Times Square location by going to the one just a few blocks up at Lincoln Center instead.

You can also look for any discount codes at BroadwayBox.com. Save your money on all the fees from buying online by going to the theater’s box office in person and showing them the code on your phone.

We also recommend you check out this link for information about lottery and rush tickets.
